GOD DAMN SOMEONE COULD HAVE SAID THAT IN THE FIRST REPLY AND THE THREAD WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER.
Alright everyone cool to Hypeo.
Edit: OH HO HO, nice try. Hypeo's server is dead.
Everyone to RDS.

I just spent 30 mins reading this thread...

I want that 30 mins back!
The Community of 2003 took it go complain to them :P.
Wait... I was part of that community... albeit a small, miniscule part

does that mean I took my own time? and if that's the case, how do I ask myself for a refund of time I wasted?

Yes, but plenty of us disagree specifically that you should be unbanned.

I, for one, think you have a habit of annoying the already annoyed, and so I don't care either way. I think the org does need to make some changes, but they are not because the admins and mods are failing to do their jobs. It's a philosophical disagreement about what function the org actually serves, not a disagreement about level of administration abuse. You would be wise not to confuse the two.
Just because people are quiet about it doesn't mean it's not there. Even AD agrees that things are done very weird these days.
I don't think we're quiet. In fact, I think the mods are aware. But just to be clear:

TJ,

Are you aware of my positions and my offers of help?

1. Roughly, from what posts I remember reading.

2. Yes.

Right. So clearly the administration team is aware there are issues. I don't believe that it's fair to suggest otherwise.

I dunno Beo. Yeah I hate a lot of the noob and spam posts, but frankly...I was a noob once too (and probably still am). If the forums were so strict, I would've probably given up entirely on editing (no comments on how this would've been a good thing ) and thought the community was full of douche bags.

Now don't get me wrong, the community *is* filled with douche bags and elitist asshole who think they're awesome (when they're not), but there are also the handful of people on here who I now consider true friends. That part of the community DOES exist and I for one am grateful for it.

So yeah the community ain't what is used to be (for better or for worse, a little of both probably), but I've still gotten a wide variety of good things from it like TJ and met a number of awesome people.

So long as the human Race acts the way it does, EVEYTHING (and I mean everything) will continue to run in the same political bloated manner..

Everyone is to blame for this so there is no point in arguing about it

I dunno dad, you were around when the community was just you, a few dinosaurs and some rocks that you used to make stone carvings on the walls (i.e. the first AMV ever) so perhaps you're to blame more than anyone else having been around for awhile. :P
