Need Help With Vegas...

Hello, everyone! I'm new to this site (and AMV making, for that matter) and I'm trying to get started. I downloaded the free demo of Sony Vegas Platinum 8.0, but I am having problems using it.

Here's the deal: I've got the anime eps I want to use downloaded; but when I try to open them to an editor or anything, it opens only the audio for the eps, not the video. It also displays a small message towards the bottom of the screen saying "Stream attributes could not be determined." Do you know any ways around this problem?

In the first post on the WMM frequently asked questions it has that banner.. but other then that nothing. Besides. Obviously people don't read the stickies anyway.

Well I'm sorry if I didn't look under WMM FaQ's for help with Vegas.

But sorry if I've asked a way-too-common question. I tend to do that a lot.

and people still seem to post that problem in wmm forum all the time

(he wasnt insinuating that you should have looked there... he was just saying that its in that stickie)

That eovideo program says that it can't read the frames of my downloaded eps.

What can I do?
