Problem with Sony Vegas (avi files)

Post by KaZuWa » Mon Apr 23, 2007 8:16 am

Hi,

I use Sony Vegas 5 (or 7) to make movies and now I wanted to start AMV...
But, Sony Vegas don't take the .avi and all my Bleach episodes are in .avi.
I won't put these 122 episodes only for a AMV :s
Do you know how to up avi files with Vegas :?

Thanks

Your files are almost definitely encoded with Xvid or Divx, which does not really work for editing. You'll need to reencode them with a lossless codec such as HuffyUV or Lagarith with VDM

then go to file->save

use those to mark the beginning and the end of the "clips" you want so you can save room
This also does a good job explaining... well, everything: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtechbeta/
