Audio No Video: Sony Vegas 7.0

Post by Drake264 » Fri Apr 13, 2007 12:19 pm

So I used Vegas to make my Hajime No Ippo video last time and it worked great But now I'm trying to use some other anime and it's not working. Like my hajime no Ippo it's all avi format. I think I need some codecs for Vegas, but I dunno where to get them. Or if there could possibly be another problem please let me know. I really wanna get to workin on my third vid.

this is easy to fix
download a program called AVI FourCC Changer
open your episodes with the porgram and change the
fourcc from Xvid to divx, vegas will no regonise the video as well

...or you could do it the correct way and realize that lossy video encodes are not for editing. Stick to lossless encodes and you'll be fine.

Actually I figured it out. I used the FourCC changer changing my codecs from Xvid to Divx. Thanks for all the help people.

It already did. I'm in the process of making my video now, and trying to find some other video effects for Sony Vegas.

Okay, then let me convey this nugget of wisdom. if you have a WORKING suggestion, ue it. If you have nothing of use go back to whatever corner you came from and stay there. I mean dude I needed help with a problem, all you provided was annoyance.
