• Comments: Renascence & Providence is an AMV made to a 5 year old idea I've had since year 10 in High School. Yes, after watching End of Evangelion back in 2000, I too became one of millions that were 'mind-raped'. lol
  
  I've only recently picked up the courage to make it early last year because before then, I was afraid my skills were rather limited to make something of this magnitude from my imagination. Not exactly what I had in mind 5 years ago but very similar I guess.
  
  Evangelion: Death & Rebirth + End of Evangelion + The Prodigy's Breathe = this AMV.
  
  Its mindless action with a slight hint of structure with the story left. I guess I didn't try as hard as I can to add conceptual framework into it because I know I can make something more meaningful than this. Either ways, I wanted to have fun with this and I did! HAW HAW HAW!
  
  Mind you, this AMV was originally made for a university project. I got a high distinction in the unit but the lecturer I had said it lacked 'conceptual framework'. I was confused at first so I went and researched what she meant. In the end, I've learned a few points to raise to myself when composing my future AMVs. She also assured me that my music video would gain some sort of credit in a decent video arts competition but so far I've been denied of any awards from AMV competitions but I have won three awards from university runned video arts competitions and local film festivals around my neighbourhood. To some, it may show success but I'm not at all satisfied with how little credit I get from the audience I've originally created this AMV for. Quite shocking but I guess that is how the world turns. AMV in Australia is still very amature so I can't blame how medicore and amature the judges will also be.
  
  At other times I would give you an artistic analysis of my AMV but I'm too tired at the moment. It's 5am in the morning and I still haven't finished all the music videos I've been asked to make for the Eminence Symphony Orchestra's A Night in Fantasia 2005 Anime and Video Games concert:

  Forgot to mention; I suck at encoding. The file uploaded here at amv.org is the lowest quality one you will ever find on this AMV. I'll have to learn a bit or two about the technical aspects of ripping and encoding one day. If you ask me why the AMV is so grainy and washed out; that was an effect done on purpose. Static and film noise were the two main effects I've used in the AMV. Suits End of Evangelion very well :3
  
  Regardless of all the crap I was talking about, I hope you don't get turned off from watching my AMV.
  I wonder if I'm going to get any sleep tonight...
