• Comments: I'm normally not inclined to do two AMVs to the same anime right on each other's heels, but this is one that begged to be made ASAP. Since few drama videos have really done that to me recently, I decided it was probably a good sign that this video wouldn't suck.
  
  I chose ".45" by Shinedown because the lyrics immediately brought images of Roy to mind. Had I not known better, I would have sworn that the song was actually written about him. The only catch is that this song is very action-oriented, and truth be told, Roy Mustang wasn't a very active guy for most of the series. Since most of his character comes out in emotional flashbacks, I had to make more use of those with very creative timing.
  
  But of course, that was the easy part.
  
  4 of the 6 episodes I used are currently unavailable on DVD since the licensed release hasn't gotten that far yet, so I was forced to use fansubs. Unfortunately, these particular fansubs present an encoding nightmare; the normal bait-and-switch maneuver with Premiere won't work, so I use high-quality MJPEG versions and some sneaky MPEG-1 final encoding. The filesize is on the large side (66MB), but it's needed because of the problems the episodes present. In any case, I hope you enjoy it.
