The original multi-editor AMV project that started it all!
A very brief history:
At Anime Weekend Atlanta in 2000, Brad DeMoss (MisterFurious) first came upon the Dance Dance Revolution soundtracks...and discovered that along with each soundtrack came a disc 2, in which all of the songs had been combined into a 70+ minute nonstop megamix. An idea for a multi-editor project using the entire mix was just a brainstorm at this point, but when he posted it to the AMV mailing list, response was immediate. Before a mix had even been officially chosen, Anthony Bennett (OtakuOutpost) uploaded all of the 3rd Mix megamix tracks onto an FTP and posted a link to the mailing list. Immediately, people on the list began downloading and "claiming" tracks. DDR-related traffic on the AMV list became high enough that Brad went ahead and created a separate mailing list just for the DDR project...and thus, the project was born.
Brad handled most of the organization, and Lee Thompson (Lostboy) also stepped in at the end when numerous problems (tracks that no one had claimed, editors who had signed up for tracks and disappeared, etc.) became building up as the anticipated premiere at Anime Weekend Atlanta 7 (2001) approached. Several editors including Nathan Bezner (Nightowl) and Vlad Pohnert made multiple tracks in order to make up for the gaps. Due to some miscommunication and technical errors, some of these extra tracks did NOT make it into the project. These were last-minute backup tracks that were dropped when the original editors came through at the zero hour. They are available as separate downloads:

A bit of fun trivia: This is quite possibly the only multi-editor project to ever include a track made with the 2-VCR method ^_^ This was also the only DDR project in which any editors worked on multiple tracks.
