• Comments: Well... it wasn't a hiatus...
  I started to work on this video goin for another of the usual synched tribute videos, but somewhere along the way people started to rate my Neji Vid with scores I thought should have been a bit higher, so that kind of made me realize that I could do much better and blow people's minds, just like Euphoria or Olin(k maybe not Euphoria; I do have a life)...
  anyways I just started making scene synchs (ala to beat and lyrics) but I thought it could use much more, *cough Neji's Moment* so I scrapped my 2 weeks of work, and started over with a new song and a prethought layout as opposed to my other videos were I just wing it according to the beat and lyrics; this was prewinged...
  So there I am editing at 30:1 scale in frame by frame, and let's just get one thing straight too, I suck with Photoshop CS and don't know how to use After Effects (which I'll learn by next vid) so everything, every single edit was done in Premiere...
  I was working for about a month when my PC (well premiere really) decided to crash on me and I lost about thirty seconds of editing, set me back 2 weeks, and premiere gave some message about maybe not being able to salvage my work but making a back up copy (hence the lost 30 seconds), but either way I remembered what I did for those 30 seconds and re-did them and almost exactly the same but with upgrades...
  Next came the week of tests in school which went without editing, but when I came back I had re-winged some segments with new ideas (re-altered) and that only added to my work time which after several premiere crashes (24 in total) which amounted to a total work time of 2 and a half months of work on this video (I had 2 stages of Editor's Block, about a week total thinking time)...
  On Friday night I could have sworn I was done but damn premiere gave me a day and a half of encoding hell, I ended up making an uncompressed avi sans the audio (inserted cd lossless audio later) except for the audio edit I made on the final lee clip during the doomsday jesus song (if you listen to the original you'll notice it at about the 3:29 mark) and re-encoded using .wmv at 2 mbps which meant I lost no quality at all and got to keep the 640x480 (although it claims to be 720) screen size...

  It's now been entered in my first and only AMV contest, TheSato: 1st Beats & Break AMV Contest...
  It will be exclusively for that amv contest, seeing as how I don't really feel like entering anything else...

  I won, but unfortunately did not get the first place prize of an amazon gift card, because The Sato was "low on funds"...
  well I guess winning is what counts right?
