  • Comments: I started this video almost immediately after seeing the first dvd and had to hold off until the third one was released to finish it. Mid-June to mid-August.

    I'd wanted to do a video with Cartoon Heroes for a long time but never had the right footage. I knew it had to start with clowns and have a circus feel, but at the time the only thing I could think of was Joker from the Batman cartoons. Luckily I discovered Kalaido Star, which seems like it was made for this song.

    It's my first attempt at an upbeat video and it turned out really well. Several people have told me it's their favorite of my videos. Certainly a surprise to me, but I've never been a great judge of what's popular.

    The 'spoilers' in this video only relate to what sorts of performances happen in the first three disks, who gets what roles, and a small spoiler for the end of disk 3. It's probably a good video to get someone interested in the show, actually.
