• Comments: I had seen a lot of Final Fantasy VII AMVs, and after seven years, it may seem a little strange to make yet another. However, I had never seen a video that focused on Tifa at all. Tifa was one of my favorite characters from the game, and quite instrumental, in my opinion. After all, she was the third point of the love triangle, and in an odd, messed-up way, she helped Cloud gain his identity. While I am a firm believer that Cloud loved Aeris, I am also a huge Tifa fan and could not help but emphathize with her when her feelings for Cloud were not returned. :-(
  
  This video, therefore, is an attempt to focus more on Tifa's role in the story. There obviously is simply not enough Tifa footage to make an AMV solely devoted to her (unless it were very short). Thus, I decided to switch the perspective between Cloud and Tifa, mainly, although there is some great footage of other characters as well. Since Tifa mostly relates to Cloud through the love triangle aspect of the game, there is plenty of Aeris footage as well. . . more than I had originally intended, although I am pleased by the result. In all, the theme of this AMV is the sense of loss and longing experienced by two of the main characters in the game, even though they are heroes and saved the world: Tifa reaching out for Cloud, and Cloud reaching out for Aeris in return, the martyred Cetra over the beautiful woman who remains behind and sacrifices her happiness for him.
