• Comments: Ok. Since when I first created Requiem I was not very familiar with encoding techniques, I ended up with a very large file. Way too large in fact. The original version of this video actually came out to be about 600 Megs, which I had to whiddle down to under 100, which I did just, but lost some of my video quality in the process. Now, I have remastered Requiem, and encoded it using the Divx compliant XviD codec. At 65 megs, this is a better sized file than my original, and though it is still a little large, it is actually the right size for a video that is 6:30. I also cleaned up some bad edits nagging me, but didn't seem to nag the people reviewing my vid, and tried to tighten up some portions of the video, but only a little bit. I hope you enjoy the final version of Requiem for a Vampire.
  
  Music - "Lux Aeturna" by Clint Mansell
  
  The music used is a remix song called "Requiem for a Ring" done by Tim Asta based on the song "Lux Aeturna", written by Clint Mansell, which was the main theme to the movie "Requiem for a Dream." This remix version of the song was eventually used as background music for the "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" commercials, but was not written specifically for the trailor. Clint Mansel and Tim Asta share the rights to the song jointly.

  A little information about the editing on this video. It is FULL of edits that are not redily apparent, and many of the scenes run deceptively similar to the original scenes in the movie, but I must emphasize that they were edited extensively not only to remove unwanted material, but also to time the events to corrispond to the music. Please understand that I made this video to feel more like a movie, and because of that I made all of my edits as unobtrusive as possible. If they drew attention to themselves, I knew they were not working. Since people have complained that this video seemed un-edited, I deem my work paid off.
