• Comments: There is not really an original story to this amv. I knew Apocalyptica for a time, but it was just a few months ago when I thirst heard the remake of path with the vocals of Sandra Nasic I instantly loved the guano apes and downloaded a few more of there songs. Including Innocent Greed. When I heard the song a couple of times I wanted to make an amv with it. I was looking for a little samurai/barbaric kind of anime. Shortly after that I watched the Escaflowne movie and it was exactly what I was looking for.
  
  When I started working in premiere I tried to use my father’s laptop because it’s a little faster then the pc I did al my previous work on. And indeed the editing went a lot faster. I did about 20 seconds and decided to make a backup on my own pc. And luckily I did because shortly after that my dads work emptied his laptop so everything was gone. After that I decided to buy my own new pc and postponed the making of the amv until I got my new pc. A month pasted when I finally got the video card but after that I could finally continue.
  
  I must say I now have a 2400+ and the editing is sweet. For you guys who would like the exact stats here is some info:

  Total of 150 Gigs
  
  When making this amv I didn’t want to make the same ‘mistake’ I made last time. If you don’t know what I mean, I’m talking about the flashiness of the last vid. The white drum role flashes to be exact. So in this vid I tried to do as much with out the flashes. (thanks Rubyeye for the tip)
  
  I learned a few new tricks when making this vid. For example the effect I did round about 3:07. I didn’t really know what to edit to the ticks at this point, and I thought something like this effect would do nicely but I didn’t really know how to do it. After a little experimenting I found out and you can see the effect. Not to shabby if I see myself ^_^.
  
  Another thing I tried to do different from the last time is the action editing, I thought my editing was to ‘short cut’ and wasn’t really smooth. So this time I tried to use some more fades. I ignored some of the less important beats, something I would never do in my last Amv. And this time I concentrated more on the Main beats. I think this idea worked and the action is a lot fluid then in my past Amvs.
  
  Last but not least, I would like to thank some people for there (moral) support.
