  This year's AMV is a character study about Nico Robin. When I watched the Ohara episodes last Christmas I simply knew that I had to create an AMV about her sad story (which has a happy end, because Luff and her crew don't want to give up on her). I've searched for another two weeks until I found the song that fitted perfectly to the story I wanted to tell.
  
  I needed 7 months to create this AMV (besides writing my thesis and my final exams in English), but I think every minute I put into it was worth it :).

  Story:
  
  Nico Robin stands on the Tower of Justice. She is prepared to die for Luffy and the strawhat crew and this way to end her suffering. There has never been anyone in her life to care for her, neither her mother nor strangers nor Crocodile. Therefore, she's surprised when Luffy and the strawhat crew won't listen to her and decide to save her, nontheless.
  Slowly, Robin realizes that she wants to live. That she wants to share her life with that crew. And that Luffy and the strawhat crew are the people she has been looking for so long. The people who will save her.
