- Title: Grand Theft Bebop
- Premiered: 2002-07-18
- Game Audio Grand Theft Auto 3
Composition: Video Clips and Music/Speech
Quick Description: A preview for a Movie that will never be... :( hehe
Spoilers: There are some visual spoilers but nothing to ruin the
story. If you haven't seen up to episode 5... then watch
those before this video.
Video content notes:
1 - I wanted to make this just right... I had way too much fun and
glued myself to my computer to make it. =)
2 - Pure GTA3 audio. :) Sorry no MSX was used. :P
3 - I had intended for more lip sync and references to GTA3 (such
as putting the text "swordfish ii" on a scene of spike with the swordfish)
Instead, as the video progressed I realized that simply sticking
to the more realistic cars and 'gunz' action concept would produce
a closer to GTA3 feel.
4 - Simple editing generally... couple of basic effects... I need to
learn flash or something else so I don't have to make those zooming
texts the old fashioned way... :P
5 - I had no choice but to recreate the GTA3 intro... if you are an
anti-intro person then this video might anger you lolol. For me it
was all about setting the right mood and making an appropriate
dedication to GTA3 and Cowboy Bebop
6 - I decided to stick with the phone sounding maria wavs... since
in each scene she was actually on the phone (my goal).
7 - Thanks to EK for inspiring the explosion/glass sequence from
her 'Failed Experiments' video. :)
8 - Time: Don't ask.
1 - Audio is bad, but so is the original... 32khz etc...
2 - Intro was made using my good friend 'screen' transparency.
(as were the letters in the end)
3 - Oh yeah, the entire video was made in Premiere 4.2... although
I used 6.0 to export the final avi (all of the small chunks together)
due to 4.2's lack of support for
