And finally, Shin Hatsubai video #16 arrives also in the 'Demo' column (see the video marked with "Demo 1 take 1" for what the hell a demovideo is). This is one of my favorite Linkin Park songs (aka the ones I can stand), and it turned into the third and best AMV made for the BAS activities fair demo. Quality is a touch better than the others, and source selection is a lot better as well; titles used include Bounty Hunter, Mystery of the Necronomicon, X/1999, Ninja Scroll, Love Hina, Cowboy Bebop, Rounin (an original production of BAS members), Yumede Aetara, Perfect Blue, Saiyuki, Kite, the Kenshin OAVs, Trigun, Here Is Greenwood, Ranma 1/2, Nadia, and Dragon Knight. As with the others, this didn't even have a timing chart, just a whole lot of luck.
Shin Hats Self-Grade: B/B+. Not a great video, but good for what it is, and it gets the message across.
Stats: #clips: 89 (65 distinct). avg length: 2.16 sec. total time: 8 hours (new clips and final assembly only).
There are some additional notes about the video and the general philosophy behind the purpose-built videos in demo 1 here.
This video is now on local, despite being only tenuously an AMV. This is by request; someone asked for demo 3 to go on local, and there wasn't a convincing reason not to give demos 1 and 2 the same treatment.
