  In this video I tried a totally different thing from my usual videos: instead of telling a story, or following a character through a chronological order, I decided to put images that could explain the lyrics. In other words, this video uses Full Metal Alchemist to tell what the song is trying to tell. No character profiles whatsoever.
  
  And now, the rainbows. It's really difficult to understand what rainbows truly are in this song, and here's my two cents: rainbows are the future, the progress we can achieve trhough techonology and science. But doing so, we always forget the negative implications of what we create. We study nuclear reactions to find new kind of energy, and still they use these researches to create bombs. It's obviously ridicolous to say that science is "guilty", but we always have to remember how science can be used for military purposes as well, and try not to be blinded by the wonderful results we are trying to see, not to be blinded by rainbows.
  
  So, in my video, rainbows are alchemy. Alchemy can do a lot of beautiful things (see the chorus), and both Ed and Roy love to use it, but they don't have to forget how alchemy can be used too: to kill innocent people, to destroy and slaughter.

  A couple of notes:
  
  "Do you kneel before the cross?": that's the scene when Scar is about to kill Ed, and he says "I'll give a moment to pray your God", and Ed answers "Thanks for the gesture, but I don't believe".
  "The face of Christ": it's Al's soul in the distance, still behind the gate.
