• Comments: This AMV was actually my 3rd video. I took the animation from the Animatrix DVD and edited to Bon Jovi's "It's My Life." Now, I understand that this is an overdone song and as such, I can just simply nod and agree.
  
  This AMV premiered at the 2005 Anime Expo AMV Contest on July 1st amid other well qualified contestants. There were better vidoes and as such, no awards were won with this video. However, I am still proud of the fact that I made it into the AMV finalists, regardless. Some great AMVs were shown in this years competition, and a big congrats to everyone who made it to the finalists and/or who didn't. It does take a bit of work to make an AMV, let alone get it shown, so good job to everybody.
  
  This is what I call a 'general AMV' meaning that there is nothing exceptionally special about this. I tried to tie in a "It's My Life" theme to it and I think it came out pretty well. I really wouldn't consider this to have any spoilers so I am not marking it as such. There were no 'special effects' placed in here, only good old-fashioned timed cuts. If you are after really flashy AMVs, this might not be for you. This AMV is technically a year old (I missed last year's deadline), but I feel that it was still up to par. It took me roughly 3 days/nights to complete this, so it wasn't poured over for ages and ages. Nonetheless, I am still happy with it. I originally sumbitted this video as a Drama video, but the judges ended up placing this in Action category. Unfortunatly, I don't really know what this would fit into, but oh well. =)
