The main theme is 'stand out' regarding towards the use of Stands in the anime. Mostly every time (when the music gets more upbeat) when there's a "stand out" lyric, I wanted to show everyone's Stand. I did stick in two lip synchs - "It's a piece of cake", which I think was fine and then "Til you notice me" at the end. The song ended kind of abrupt so I wanted it to be kind of solo'd out. I wanted to change the final impression from "oh, it just ended" to "oh, that was neat". There is a lot more gag syncs than I expected (hence why I checked this video under 'fun' as well as action). I guess it's because I've heard the song so much that I know all the lyrics and I unconsciencely fixed it to what was occuring in the anime. I could make a list of 'em all but if you watch it once or twice, you should catch them. The one non-Jo Jo watchers wouldn't know is the clock scene. When the clock was blown up in the anime, it was a message to Mr. Joestar (the bearded dude with the brown hat). I didn't want to put that one in, but at the end it just happened 'cause I used a scene with the clock actually blowing up so what the heck..... just expand the footage at it just fit right. I used a few transitions because some scenes felt so long that the time while cutting would make it look appealing. Also, after watching the completed video and listening to the song :again:, I felt that adding a few trans where the music changes lets you know that it's a new segment. There should be only four transition effects total. (Edit: after viewing multiple times I added a few more trans and fades but I hope it's not too many. There's now seven. ^_^... maybe)
I loved the idea for this, my first video, and since my friend got the dvds in, that means NO SUBTITLES! :-) I listened to this song over and over picking out footage that was right in my head. I must've watched the entire series four separate times capturing different scenes each time. All in all it took four separate days for me to edit the entire amv. I'll probably tweak it some more - you know, just the stuff only the artist would notice ;-)
