  • Comments: Probably my most technical video to date when it comes to effects and such. For the video footage, I used an ATI Wonder Capture Card and captured using DVD(and VHS of End of Eva). And I basically edited in Adobe Premiere 6.0.

    Video segments:
    It starts up flashing names and images of the angels, then the EVA units, then the children, and then basic concepts from NGE(NERV, Tokyo 3, MAGI, etc.)
    The second segment includes basic footage from Angel fights in order and stops at Matariel(10th). At that point, following the piano, images will zoom forward while a background image is constant.
    The same concept is in the next part, except with a drum roll effect faded in the background and white flashes for cymbals.
    It resumes to Angel fights, in order of course, and stops at Armisael(16th angel).
    The next segment is an important one, as it quickly introduces Kaworu Nagisa(Tabris), and then shows his.. "exit" from this world.
    Next one of my favorite parts, it has Kaworu(the voice seemed pretty good matched with him) telling a sort of story about an angel(obviously Shinji at this point).
    After the story, it has a couple quick clips of Shinji, and then Rei going to stab Lilith, Asuka's mind being attacked, and young Misato looking at the wrath of the Second Impact. Then another type of drumroll effect, and it shows the Dummy Plug vessels(Reis) dying.
    And finally, a couple great segments from the Eva 01-Sachiel battle, and then it closes with some nice segments from End of Eva.

    Editor's notes:
    -The drumroll effect was actually 2 premade drumroll clips, and when I need them, I inserted them in random order.
    -Yes, I did make all the little titles and names myself
    -Still images were captured using a DVD rom drive
    -Though this video does not do NGE justice, this is my best to date, and I hope it's good enough
