** Winner of the Best Non-Anime Music Video Award at Senpai Productions 2002 Contest **
I've been waiting a long time to release this music video, mainly because it's my first mark as an amatuer music video creator. I decided to make this music video, because after I finish an anime or video game, I just have to make it into a music video. Well, I was playing Final Fantasy VIII, and decided to make it into a video. I was just looking for songs over the internet, when I came across Deliver Me by Sarah Brightman. As I listened to the song, I just had to make this music video.
Here's the software that I used to make this video:
Adobe Premiere 6.0 - First time I've ever used it
TMPGEnc - Followed ErMaC's guide and made an awesome MPEG encode
FF8 FMV Viewer - Helped get the FMVs off the CDs
RAD Video Tools - Helped convert the Bink FMVs to editable AVI files
You can really guess how I edited by seeing all of the software that I used. It's probably the video that has the best kept quality. It really does look pretty good. I really tried to convey a message to all of the romantics out there through this music video. I tried to show how Squall and Rinoa loved each other straight from the beginning. They would do pretty much anything for each other, even run out into airless space to save the other. I really wanted to capture the feeling that they would do anything to be with each other for eternity.
My favorite part in the entire music video would have to be near the beginning, when Squall and Rinoa are dancing. I really tried my hardest on this music video, because it is about romance. It's something that I hope that everyone experiences in their lifetime. Everyone has someone special out there, but they just have to try hard to find them. I dedicate this music video to my love, who is out there somewhere.
I want to add that I redid this video afterwards the results of MindWarpET.com's contest came out. Now it's much simpler and much more better, in my opinion. I hope that everyone has fun watching it.
I hope that many of you will leave useful opinions, and I will try to review each person, if they give me a review.
