This is my third real music video (Not counting two of my learning videos that were mostly stills set to slow songs, one of which I'll put up soon). Yes, I know now that DBZ/Rammstein is most likely overdone. At the time I made it though, I had seen very few AMVs at the time, so I went with whatever songs begged to have videos.
My friends all tell me that this one's not bad at all; it's not one of those typical random fight scenes set to loud music with little or no editing. I worked hard to get the scenes to fit the feeling, and the beat. That's one thing I really work hard on, is harmonizing video and music. I use the beat whenever possible, making it all go together smoothly.
Being an early video, there are of course a few parts that could have been better, but it's overall not bad in my opinion and those of several others. Though the best way is for you to watch and form your own opinion. ;)
A few notes: The video quality's not so good. This couldn't be helped at the time; my only sources were extremely low quality, and this plagues all of my early vids. Plus, I didn't know enough about Windows Movie Maker to make the quality better. At least this kept the filesize small, and my effort is still visible and helps one see past the grainy picture.
Also, there are a few small instances of lip-syncing, though not enough to qualify for being part of the point-system. Just there for emphasis and a bit of "Wow, cool" factor. It was my second attempt at such, and is interesting.
Sadly, Movie Maker loves to mess up, and when I tested the syncing it was absolutely perfect. But then when I made it into a movie file, the entire video's timing was thrown off. So I had to go back in and re-edit several parts based on absolute guess-work. This took hours and hours, and tons of lost sleep. This was the best I could do out of a great many guesses, something that makes me proud of how this vid turned out.
Like all of my vids, it's in .wmv format. Enjoy the grim action. >:)
