Quick Description: Hitomi/Van love video. If you want action
then this video is not for you. Go get my Big Wars video to
feed your need, haha (or one of the 800000 other action videos
I hope you enjoy this video!
Video content notes:
1 - Lyrically, this song was not extremely difficult to sync to.
There are a few lyrics that, just as in the song, take on
the figurative meaning when visuals are applied, unless you really
want to see Hitomi stealing stuff, haha... (where is that footage??)
2 - The title was just one of the many I was considering...
maybe something like "unsaid feelings" would even appropriatly
3 - As opposed to syncing every beat I decided to take advantage
of the power of the imagery from Escaflowne. Some (many?) scenes pass
over given beats hopefully giving them more presence to the viewer
as opposed to just flashing with each beat.
4 - At the end of the video there is a scene of Van leaping at the
'viewer' and a zoom on Hitomi. Someone pointed out to me that if
you didn't think about what the scene was from the show it might
appear to the viewer that Van is charging Hitomi, hahaha. :P
Obviously I wanted to take advantage of the zooming in on their
5 - I really wanted to make a Hitomi/Van video since I began
making AMVs. I just never felt confident enough or happy enough
with the songs I was considering. This one really worked out for
my intentions... though some my argue it stretches the feelings
Hitomi has a little bit. My video "Eternal" just didn't cut it for
a love video... considering it wasn't about Van & Hitomi solely.
6 - As always, Escaflowne footage is very fun to work with
considering how dynamic the show is.
7 - This will be my last Escaflowne video... unless yet another
idea pops into my head.
1 - There are not many effects in this video, mainly just fades,
however complex they are. The effects I did implement don't seem
to be distracting in any way, well hopefully!
2 - I decided that I could use motion zoom without creating a
pixelated blob... which works out really well when applied to
clips that are fading out anyway. So you will see this effect
used a few times in the video.
... if I think of anything else I will add it ...
Enjoy the Video! :)
