Here we are, with AMV #7. For this one, I went just a little out of the way with my normal concept videos. In general, when I'm attempting comedy, I go with either complete randomness or justaposition that ends up being funny. For "Superstar" I decided to try a new angle: twisted accuracy. The idea of Gendo Ikari as Jesus Christ is pretty off-the-wall by itself. The way the lyrics actually fit his character in many aspects made it all the more insane.
I tried to get a logical progression through the video, from the series footage to End of Eva. Although with Eva, logic is tricky business on its own. In any case, I hope you have as much fun watching it as I id making it.
