Time spent: MUCH less than I expected. If I were to think hard about it, this vid took under 35 hours. I just have to remember that playing games in between edits may help jog my creative fluids...
Hardware: PROBLEM SLAYER!
Software: Adobe Premiere 6.0, Virtualdub + Logoaway & XviD.
Inspiration: My first video. That and my love for DDR music. Sad thing is I can't play that machine for the life of me.
Theme: Well, this vid is part of "Feel the Rhythm" so a "dance" style song is involved. However, when I look at the whole video, this thing is hard for me to categorize. I'm hoping some of you will help me to do so.
This is a somewhat "angry" vid so to speak. Many of the scenes depict emotions off the negative side of the scale. Rather, there's nothing "light" about this video at all. There may be a smile but overall, I made this vid with anger in mind. With SOOO many episodes and SOOO many characters in the Inu Yasha Manga / Anime, it was REAL hard finding the exact footage I needed. Mostly Kikyo's appearences.
The quality takes a dip sadly from time to time but I tried my best to make it as good as possible.
BTW, don't try to adjust your screen's settings due to the "four sided" letter boxing frame I made. It's there for a reason.
This video stretched my limits in terms of applying fx and scene selection. I like this video. A lot. This is also probably the first video that I'VE made which I believe can be placed in my AMV Masters folder.
Be wary of "exact" lyric matching. I almost tossed them out the window. In "Aluminum Studios" terms, the lyrics don't make this video, not like my other "Feel the Rhythm" videos. There's a great deal of symbolism to be had with the scenes chosen. One minor way I interpreted a lyric: "Far Away..." I displayed scenes of mostly Kagome. You'll get the idea once you've viewed this video.
The fans may probably enjoy this video and understand its symbolisms more than those who've never seen the series before, but I'm trying to build a story. Somewhat disconnected it may seem since the episodes used were so damn far apart.
And so, I give you the end of "Feel the Rhythm".
"Moonlight Vengeance - Feel the Rhythm".
For those dishonored, may vengeance be yours.
I'VE FINALLY FOUND A GENRE IT CAN FALL INTO! Thanks to Zarxrax! Jealousy falls under "Drama". I've been getting responses that this is an "action" video. I sure hope not since that would make it similar to the original. The "action" some of you are refering to is non-existent. You do not see any outright fighting. Mostly just the girls shooting arrows at an unseen enemy as a sign of comparison.
Special Thanks to dragonballarena.net for the indirect hosting. ^_^
