The idea and the layout of this video was the idea of a friend of mine, Michael Surbrook. He layed out the ideas of which scenes would be appropriate for what lyrics in the song. Then I went to work, editing the video along his guide.
A little tweaking here and there to bring it together and the video was done.
It suffered some problems though hardware wise. I couldn't get the video to play all the way though without the video losing frames toward the end. Also, even through my original source material was LD, the video quality really suffered, it was another quarter frame video, sampled in at 320x240 the picture looked washed out once it got on the projector at AX.
While Ninja Scroll is very popular, I don't think the song, Guilty by Gravity Kills was to obscure to appeal to the majority of the audience.
Creating it was a lot of fun, the technical problems when I tried to get a version ready for the contest at AX was extreamly frustrating.
