  • Comments: This is pretty much the video that made me known to the world. This is my 4th video and the one that will always remain the classic. It's the first video of mine to reach over 1000 downloads, and it's still funny. hehe, I love comedy.

I always dreamt of making a video to the Mortal Kombat theme, but then again, that's like saying I wanted to make a video to Linkin Park. Ack. So to soften the blow of people blowing my video off because of the unoriginal song, I decided to spoof the thing. No, it's not a statement of how I hate Mortal Kombat (in fact, I love the song), but it was more of a test to see how I could do in a video using comedy. Many of my friends say that I passed with flying colors.

However, I guess you could say it's a parody of all the Mortal Kombat videos out there. I mean, c'mon, have you counted how many there are? No? That's because you can't count that high! No one can! Bah!!

Anyways, the only way I could spoof this thing is to use some kind of comedic anime/show. At the time, I had recently downloaded some Family Guy episodes from Hotline, and they quickly became my prime source of footage, especially since I was totally new to capturing, frame rates, and all that good stuph.

The name of the video itself is a spoof. The first AMV I ever saw was Kusoyaro Production's "Kyoto Kombat" and I worshipped that video to no end. So this is my comedic tribute to the video that started my career as an AMV creator. Yay. ^_^

As always, your thoughts on my videos are greatly appreciated.

*I do plan to remake this video, but it'll be started sometime when I get the Family Guy box set.

*The indirect link's version requires the Windows Media Player 7 plug-in, I believe.

*If you get a bandwidth error from the first indirect link, DON'T REPORT A LINK ERROR. That just means it needs some time to rejuvinate it's bandwidth. It is AngelFire, after all.

*Uber thanks goto NME, who found some crazy-ass way to make an MPEG version of the WMV version. :D The MPEG version is up on the LOCAL download link.

    Windows Movie Maker
    Hotline (d'yar har har)
    Morpheus (mwah hah hah)

Time Spent on Creation: 10-20 hrs
