I went through the track selection for my Animix segment having the anime I wanted to use already in mind: as soon as I listened to Poison I knew it was the most fitting with my idea of this video.
Even if only 29 seconds long, I've tried to build a "mini-story" in the track: the Yukikaze engages the enemy fighter and, after a chase in a canyon, shoots it down (it's more of a nuclear blast, but oh well :p)
The overlay layers featuring Rei Fukai have been included to match a little bit of the lyrics (even though they fit more with the mood than with the lyrics themselves), and I think they have been a nice touch in the overall. The video has also been subtly postprocessed to add some film grain and desaturation (hardly noticeable if you are not familiar with the original footage but hey, it's there :p)
In the end it has been a fun video to work on, and I am glad it's part of Animix!
