• Comments: This video is a remake of my first video. It is here to express the angst and feelings I had over watching End of Evangelion. It is in no way a masterpiece, but I felt better after making it.
  
  The original was made with a MPEG1 fansub off of a VHS tape. This version is made from bootleg HK DVDs. The quality is much better than the original version, but maybe the R1 release would look even better. Or hell the Renewal release would look way fuckin better.
  
  Technically I made this remake without knowing about proper telecine methods. I was just getting around to understanding the concepts of fields/telecining. This video was made six months after the original was made, so I was still realitively new to AMV creation. The video is de-interlaced and not IVTC'd.
  
  I felt this video deserved a remake because of the importance it had on me. It was my first video amd I had put it together over a weekend. I felt the quality was poor and I had learned how to use transperancy rubberbands so I wanted to give this a try in a video.
  
  The story behind the video is just about the events of the day in End of Evangelion. I tried some action/lip synch in there. Misato's lipsynch is better in the original. I think the original still has some charm over this one. I kind of like the raw crap quality of the original over the more pristine DVD. But that's just me.
  
  This is no masterpiece but it was worthwhile to me at the time and still means something to me.
