• Comments: Ah, Haibane Renmei... I finally get to make an AMV to my favorite anime. =^^= As usual, I made this video using Adobe Premiere. This is the first of two Haibane Renmei AMV's I plan to create. Check back sometime this fall for the 2nd one. ^.^
  
  I originally planned to make a Haibane video to "Crucify" by Tori Amos, but my friend Kai told me about this song, and I found it more fitting than "Crucify". The idea was a character profile for Reki and Rakka (originally just Reki, but my girlfriend Christine-sama suggested it would also fit Rakka, since their lives were very similar), and this song fits that concept much better. ^^
  
  I went all-out with transitions this time around, almost creating 2 videos at once. Nothing really gawdy, just lots of fading effects, as well as the usual speed mods, and a little bit of lip-synching, though that's not really the video's strong point, unlike The Bebop Reloaded. From ripping the DVDs to creating the final video, over 30 hours of work went into this project. x_x
  
  Lastly: this video is intended for those who have seen the entire series and know the full story. In making the footage fit the lyrics, I ended up going all Tarantino-like with the timeline of events, (not that that's necessarily a bad thing ^.~) and it may confuse some people who haven't seen it. If you can find a way to see the series, legally or otheriwse, I'd highly recommend it. ^_^
