Comments: This is my "first" AMV. It took about two days to make (excluding time to recapture footage).

I'll get the negatives out of the way:

I know that the interlacing is botched.

I know that the footage looks terrible. It was taken from a 10 year old VHS Streamline dub of Akira and considering that the tape has spent the last 5 years sitting in a box labled "videos", it has started to show its age.

This wasn't an exercise to impress anyone or anything. It was mainly an exercise to break in my new editing rig and reacquaint myself with non-linear editing.

The positives:

I'm rather pleased with the timing and pacing of this video.

As a parody, it may be worth a chuckle or two.

This video was created using a VHS master and captured using VirtualDub. The video was edited together using Adobe Premiere 6.0
