The actual title of this video is "Unashamed" due to the lyric "I can forgive and I'm not ashamed to be the person that I am today," but I didn't want to give the wrong impression to people who are cruising through the videos as to what this may be about.
I made this video because I was sad that I couldn't find any good Kurama vids posted. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, or maybe one's been posted in the meantime, I don't know, but since I couldn't find one, I decided to make one. This video is (obviously) about Kurama. It is ONLY about Kurama, I limited my use of clips of the other characters to make this point clear. This video attempts to show what I think the most interesting aspects of his character are, and in particular, his struggle with being both human and demon at once.
I am listing this video as being without spoilers, because it contains no storyline spoilers. Were I downloading vids, those are the ones that would bother me, it DOES however, show how Kurama's final fight in the Dark Tournament turns out. Just in case there's anyone who doesn't want that spoiled for them.
And also I apologize, this video came out a lot bloodier than I'd initially intended, but most of his most detirmined moments involve somebody getting ripped up, often himself. ^_^ But here's a bit of an overview of Kurama's overall badassness. I hope you enjoy.
~~~~for those who've viewed it~~~~
You may be wondering why I used some of the clips that I did in some of the places that I did. I assure you, every clip was put in for a specific purpose. Most of them are obvious. Some aren't, but I'd rather just let you decide what they mean on your own ;) but there's a couple I wanna explain. The main one being the line "These are my words that I've never said before," besides being the only lip-syncing in it, I chose that specific scene to lip sync for a reason. Because that scene is where he says, "I wondered if you could make your life better, more noble, than mine has been." (at least in English, I love John Burgmeier's voice, so I won't watch the japanese if I can help it *giggle*)Which seems to sum up the whole video really well, so I specifially pulled that scene to show him talking. The other ones that might confuse were the evil-yoko clips, since anyone who's seen the movie knows that those scenes never happened, and he wasn't that evil there. Refering back to the speaking scene I was talking about, however, that seems like it's kinda the way Kurama thinks of himself back then, so I used them to show the mistakes he'd thought he'd made.
I think that's all that needs explaining, but if there's anything else anyone wants me to explain. E-mail me, and I'll be happy to do so. ^_^
