• Comments: Idea: Around May '01, my friend Jessica, bought Maze OVA because she saw what she thought was a good review for an anime. We watched it, thought it was hilarous and we loved it. Then we went back to her magazine and found out it got a terrible review lol. Anyway, so she begin buying all of the Maze TV series. We watched those only God knows how many times. I totally loved Maze (boy form of course). And while I was watching Blank Check, 'I Want Candy' started playing and Maze immediately popped into my head.
  
  Project: This was a difficult MV to make. For one thing, I had to watch all 26 episodes on VHS... DUBBED! *ack* Once I got over that I did the first minute or so and HATED it! So a good day or 2 had been wasted. I was going through major 'writer's block' (is there a term for AMV creators like that??) I finally got back to it and redid the opening and I found the PERFECT footage for the very beginning! Anyway, this video took about 2 weeks to finish because I took more breaks than usual since I was also occupied by my boyfriend at the time. After taking advice from Jessica, I changed a number of clips to better it the lyrics at parts. I also couldn't help but use footage of Maze's 2 obessive followers eating candy at least once ^^ I'm still kind of unhappy with a few clips and most of the transitions I used. One more thing, everyone will most definately notice the horrific timing at the very ending. YES! I did get lazy! Other then those few things, this is one of my favorite because this was my first video that I was able to get people to laugh without even trying!
  
  Extra Info: Video Completed 7-10-01 - Premiered at Ani-Magic 2001. Anime Club thought it was hilarious.
  
  Source/Equiptment: Editting done in Video Wave 4. Captured with Win TV CC. Footage taken from VHS. Song DLed from Napster. Corel Photo Paint used for OP & ED Bumpers.
