• Comments: At last, Program X has an opening sequence. Program X is the name for the series of cut scenes from Xenosaga that has been turned into a 13 episode TV series. No joke, the total running time is almost 8 hours.
  
  The interesting thing about opening sequences are that they have a certain balance to them. An opening sequence must avoid spoilers but still be interesting... it must provide a backdrop for the credits, but again, it must be interesting. Lastly, it needs a good song... something catchy, but also something that can be reduced to about a minute and a half and still sound decent.
  
  The song is actually the music from the final boss, which is among the best on the soundtrack, but it only plays the one time. The footage was taken from throughout the series, and only from scenes with no speaking, because the subtitles are hardcoded into the game, and are very "in the way".
