A depressing anime. A depressing song. A depressing AMV.
Background: During the second semester of my first year of college, I took "Writing about Japanese Animation" as my second required English composition class. My teacher showed us a fair amount of anime in that class, and one of the movies we watched was Grave of the Fireflies. During Spring Break, I purchased the DVD and watched it again with my Mother. While I was watching it the second time, I started thinking about the song Little Willow, and since I was at home, I had access to my Mother's Flaming Pie CD. When I got back to school after Spring Break, and back to my computer, I started to edit the video.
Making: This is the first AMV I made. I had edited some home videos before, but didn't really know my way around Premiere. I used video track 1A/1B and the cross-dissolve transition. >_< I had a lot of technical difficulties when trying to export this video, mainly pink ghosting. By chance, I was able to get an export that didn't have any flashes.
