Well guys here it is, my sixth video and probably the most different idea so far, Red Omega v.01.
***WARNING*** This vid contains real music video performances of the artist. So if that is something you hate, turn back now.
A few months back, I watch this amazing vid called "A tribute to Shinji and Asuka" by digitalgod. He used anime images with actual music video performances of Vertical Horizon with the song "Everything You Want". That video always stood out in my mind with perfect lyric syncing and replacing MV images with anime. Too bad it is no longer downloadable. So one day I decided to do a vid with that same idea. Just like "ATTSAA" I used Neon Genesis Evangelion but I decided to do a harder rock video and the idea struck me, "The Red" by Chevelle.
The reason I use this is this: When I was watching the actual MV of "The Red", I always had a better idea of how to make the video better, althought if I actually were to direct the new version it would be too "hot" for TV. I always thought the idea of the anger management meeting was fine but I thought it would be nice to have a guy in the back row start by watching the other people fight each other. Then when the vault close he starts feeling pressure and stress and once the bridge ends he goes psycho and kills everyone in a brutal bloodbath with chairs (And I thought he would leave one person left and when the victim tries to open the locked door, the psycho takes the filled coffee pot, breaks the bottom, and when he almost stabs the victim with the sharred bottom, we break back to the speaker)
In this video, I used the idea of Asuka and (mostly) Shinji losing ther battles and having pressure and rage and when that happens they get into a murderous act. Actually you see that during the bridge, when the cockpit of both pilots turn red and they start going psycho and create a bloodbath.
The video has build up speed, emotional images, and it was fun to make. Watch it or not I certainly enjoyed making this vid. It is up to you if you like it too.
