TECHNICAL ASPECTS: Just fast cuts and a few fades. I did speed up two clips, though(Where Rakka's tearing at the cocoon).
STORY ASPECTS: -laughs- This is actually funny. Basically, I was summarizing episode one, but in the process, I made Haibane Renmei look kinda like a horror anime. Weird how that worked out. I like it! =p
