- Premiered: 2003-10-04
- bLiNd Temple Trance
My NES Track, after 3 failed attempts to successfully create a track for the NES Project I finally rested on this one which I absalutly had to do. Casually reading the forums one day I came across a thread that Fluxy had made pretaining to songs that other people dropped. I was having some difficulty with the track that I had selected and when I saw the Temple trance song was up for grabs I knew I had to do it. Zelda would not be left out of the NES project, no way, not on my watch, so I quickly picked up the song and ran with the idea Fluxy had mentioned about putting it to Record of the Lodoss War.
Quickly dumping my other song (I knew I wouldn't be able to focus on two AMV's at once, and get them both done in time) I went to work and it just flowed from there. I tried to make a story of sorts but it really added to.. Link has his first fight, meets Zelda, and Ganons forces.. lots of forces, defeats them and Ganon's Boss baddies, Gannon kidnaps Zelda, Gannon uses her for evil ritual, and Link saves her. I guess thats not straying too far from the formula of the Zelda games. Suffice to say I had a lotta fun with it and there's only a couple seconds within the whole thing that I find to be a bit lackluster to the rest of it.
Funny thing is, a few days before the final Final deadline came along I bought the Special Edition version of Lodoss War and decided to upgrade the entire vid with the better visuals it had. I also took that time to redo some scenes I felt lacked a little from the one I turned into the NES Project. I also added a little extra onto the end, nothing special, just a monster I thought needed to be in the Vid somewhere because it looked cool (And was fun to kill). It also only appears once in the game sadly.
Well, hope you enjoy the vid as much as I did making it.
