This video is technically made up of 4 half-ass non-finished videos. It is basically to show what I have been up to for the past 2 years and what type of videos are going to come. Keep in mind that my computer somehow makes my videos really dark on other people's computers but looks great on mine. I guess my monitor gamma is off so when you get it, please, turn your screen BRIGHTER! Please visit my new website and show your support!
Behind the video...(keep in mind that these are practically spoiler free so watch it and then read the summaries... it'll entertain you. it's like a big package of fun. like what you gotta do when you REALLY wanna understand dothack. stupid dothack... just a mass-marketting ploy!)
The main concept of this was thought up when I first played the game, Twisted Metal: Black. The main theme song was playing over and over in my head so I decided to make a video with it. I found a cover song of it by Gob and since it's a punk cover, that enticed me more. I sat down to do it. Had an awesome intro kinda layed out by combining the punk cover and original then... realized that when the lyrics start going, how the hell am I gonna tie that into Kenshin? ...experiment failed.
My second attempt at a straight-forward comedy video and some sync practice. I think it came out pretty good. The song was bugging me for a while cause my friend wouldn't stop playing it at his house when we "Smashed"(stay up til 4 am playing Super Smash Bros. Melee and alternate with 10 people). Interesting song to say the least. When I was making it, I couldn't stop laughing but since there is no real story or plan, I just sat down and threw random scenes to make it more funny... randomness is good for comedy(see example: Leaves of Happaness). Though, randomness drives me more insane because I know I could fit more scenes there when there were already and blah blah blah. Basically I got frustrated. Remind me to just stick to my twisted humor.
Okay first off... those glitches on the screen... I have no clue how they got there. They were on my source file when I was compiling this video and well, since I deleted the source files to "Video 3" itself, they're stuck there. Tough noogies. Anyways the concept behind this video was just because I was really into the band at the time. They are a local band from here in Hawaii and put a really awesome show. They have a lot of crowd sing-a-long songs(example: AFI) and well... I really got into this song. I stopped making this video because well... I used up all the cool scenes on the first 1/3 of it. Once again the scene usage bandit strikes again and kills my idea!
This video. Oh man this video. I wanted to make something really flashy and there I went. I was inspired by ErMaC's Soul of an Angel and was really into the anime. I even bought the Region 2 DVD just so I could make this... 3 months before the Region 1 came out. Boy am I dumb. Anyways, the only reason why I stopped was because I just had no time. Lost the Premiere file in a HUGE harddrive crash and well... I can't continue. Out of all the videos I have here shown, this one is the one I want to redo and complete. What do you think?
