  • Comments: This was a fun one; Vash was born to play Brak. Originally, I wanted to cast Knives as El Crenito/Zorak, but as my last few Trigun DVDs were out on loan, I used the villain from Episode 3 instead, and the change worked out better than I hoped.

    Compositing those two shots where Meryl and Millie sing together was tricky at first--Final Cut gets cranky about that kind of thing--but eventually I worked out a system, whereby each frame of their lip movements sat in an unused track waiting to be copied and pasted en masse, and the rest of the process went smoothly.

    If you're looking for a good, quick laugh, look no further. ;)
