  • Comments: This is probably a project I would have not jumped on right away, but for various reasons I decided to go forward with this project. After getting into this project I discovered it was going to be one of the most difficult video sources I have ever worked with due to the quality of the source material. Due to bad transferring and encoding, the source material was riddled with frame blending and other various video artifacts. After forcing a 60p source out of the 30i material I manually selected the best available frames and also touched up the video on some frames with Photoshop. I also used some DNR filters to help clean up the video as well after the final video output. This is yet another AviSynth cut video that makes use of free software to create, however I did resort to After Effects and Photoshop to touch up the footage.

Title Screen Audio: Urusei Yatsura (TV)
Credits Audio: "Uchū wa Taihen da!" (宇宙は大ヘンだ!) by Yuuko Matsutani

    Special Thanks:

    Software Used:
    Notepad :)
    After Effects
    MeGUI (Encoding)

    Technical Details:
The entire video was cut using AviSynth and Photoshop was used to create the title screen and touch up on some of the scenes that had frame blending issues. After Effects was used to stabilize the shaking on one of the video clips.
