This is my first ever AMV; it's focused on Misato Katsuragi from Evangelion remembering her time with Kaji. It's set to the song "Dont Wake Me" by Skillet. When I first heard the song, I assumed it was about a break up but listening to the rest of the album it became clear that the song was about more than that: the loss of a loved one to death. Realizing that, I listened to the song again and got the idea for this video. Eva's always been one of my favorite animes, and I realized that even though most Eva videos are action oriented I could still do something nice if I really tried.
All footage is taking from the TV series, for two reasons; first, I already had video files for the TV episodes on my computer (read: I'm lazy), and second for visual consistency. There isn't much in D&R or EoE that I even wanted to us, and using stuff from the Rebuild would just look jarring.
