AU; Saotome Alto and Ranka Lee started dating a year before the story starts. Tension begins to grown between them. He starts arguments and disagreements with her for no reason and they sometimes lead too far, making her break down into a fit of tears when he leaves. The next day, he’ll apologize, lying that he was simply drunk, but she won’t buy it. Days and months begin to pass. She starts to think about leaving him, as he continues to get more violent, but as she begins to speak her mind, he compliments her sweetly and all courage is lost. Memories haunt her of their good and bad times.
Then, one afternoon, she catches him holding Sheryl Nome at school right as she was to forgive him for the absolute final time. She recognizes this as the end of their relationship. Heartbroken, she attempts to understand how she’d wronged him to commit this adultery. There is where she remembers what her friends told her. The lies were in front of her the whole time. He was with another the whole time.
“I keep telling myself that it’s not worth it.”
She loves him but he doesn’t love her, as he has destroyed her heart. However, he’s begun to realize that his relationship with Sheryl is idealistic, as he doesn’t feel emotionally attached to her. He starts to notice that the person owning his heart is missing from his side.
“I already know that I don’t deserve it.”
But it is already too late. As he comes to make things right again, prepared to leave Sheryl and all the lies behind, she sees the truth for what it was and abandons her love for him by shedding tears and bidding him eternal farewell whilst taking to the sky at another man’s side. He attempts to explain himself, racing after her fading form. She leaves without so much as a second glance.
    “This is my perfect nightmare.”
He watches the ship leave with nothing but regret and agony. Their relationship and all they held dear ends at long last.
    OWARI

It was my very first attempt at having used the triangular in an upbeat, angst-induced video. I had wanted a song that spoke of Ranka’s feelings. I found it in this song. I personally like multiple scenes but this video nearly killed my SV to render it due to the flashback scenes having so much ghosting to them.
