Let me explain a little bit about this video:
First, I wanted to try out something different from my other amvs, and I was experimenting with my Windows Movie Maker vs. 2.0 and decided to use scenes from YYH that I'd normally pass over. I chose the song because it was silly in parts and rather serious in other parts - and then I realized how odd the beat is, as if it were sped up in places, and then slowed down in others until the complete song sounds...odd. Well, since I was experimenting, I used that strange shifting in rhythm and tried to match it with equally strange scenes and scene speeds. The story was also done to match the half-serious/half-funny lyrics, and the total result is simply odd. But I liked it. Once the video was finished I produced it in large avi format, and then I encountered my usual mess of problems. WWM refused to save the movie in any other format besides the 895mb version, and the avi file refused to be converted by either of my avi-to-mpg converters, so I imported the movie as a clip into Showbiz and produced it that way into an mpg movie. Surprisingly enough the quality remained through the conversion and I have this strange, but interesting amv.
In case I haven't scared everyone away, the story is told from Hiei's perspective, shonen ai, focused as a sort of message to Kurama. And the footage spans a nice eighty or so episodes, taken mostly out of context. Spoilers? I don't think that will be much of a problem considering the oddity of the amv.
-->If this video looks abnormally stretched in windows media player, you may have to watch it in Winamp3. There seems to be a bug depending on the player settings.
Warning: Yaoi, shonen ai, weirdness, KuramaxHiei pairing
Editing: Windows Movie Maker 2.0
Compression: Showbiz, mpg
Notes: looks awful in wmp, use Winamp 3 to view
