I made this for Anime Detour 2010. I have been kicking around this idea since I saw the Star Trek trailer. I'm certainly not the only one of course. That being said, I feel I brought the relationship between Kamina and Simon to the forefront and that helps make this different then the few other videos like this I have seen.
This one is my first foray into lyp synching. Honestly, I think I did a pretty good job with that, first time or not. Finding a static picture of gums flaping was easy. Getting that close up of "My Name is..." was what took me the most amount of time.
Magix Pro 15 is what I used for this (as it fits my budget).
The video wouldn't look half as clean without the AviSynth board on the forum. Bless their hearts for putting up with a putz like me.
