I have a love-hate relationship with this video.
I love the song, it's perfect to illustrate Nana and Ren's relationship. But, I also feel the editing falls really flat.
I'd like to think that people who are fans of Nana will enjoy it, as I did making it, but it doesn't really stand alone. (I'm sorry if you found it boring.)
That being said, somehow this video managed to snag a couple of awards.
Dirty Soul earned an Honorable Mention: General Merit at Anime North 2009, where I heard it was well-received.
It also took Best Drama at Anime Evolution 2009.
As well as the Les Paul Memorial Character Profile award at AWA XV's Expo.
