This was the first video I ever actually finished making. It took about a total of a month of editing, spread out over 4 months. I came up with the idea purely by accident: I had been listening to my iPod when "Rebirthing" came on, and I thought it would make a good Advent Children AMV. Throughout the next few months, I constantly changed my idea about what I wanted the video to look like. I went through about 6 versions of the video, changed the song length several times, sent it to various friends to look at and critique, and finally finished it in time for ConnectiCon 2008, which was the next convention I was going to.
To me, the video is a representation of not only the rebirth that Cloud went through during Advent Children and his eventual release of his past, but also the rebirth of the entirety of Midgar.
