• Comments: I’ve been meaning to make this AMV since last summer but had to put it on the shelf for a while. The trailer was VERY hard to find, mostly because shortly after Apple released the Red Band trailer (one which features some of the explicit content of the film) it was taken down and replaced with a much shorter trailer that wasn’t nearly as funny. Thankfully my wait paid off very well: I was able to find the original trailer and higher quality anime footage.
  
  But why Samurai Champloo? I think mostly of how similar the goofy comedy is, and couldn’t’ you just see Mugen played by Brad Pitt? John Malkovich as the priest is an obvious one, Francis McDormand as Fuu was so close it was scary. I even found two parts for the CIA guys. I had to cheat on a few ideas, like telephones and cars for instance, but otherwise I’m quite satisfied with this one.
