A quick note: I didn't know when I made the video who actually did the song. The goober I got the song from had the song mislabeled. I would like to appologize to the original artist who produced the song: The Rabbit Joint. I appologize. My bad guys! ^_^; Anyway, on to the usual stuff. . .
Giant X's second video! Joy!
Just like the last one, I did the bulk of the editing work with MGI Videowave III and VirtualDub to add in the audio. If I have learned anything, it's that VideoWave SUCKS and I must get a new program. I just don't have the cash for that damned Adobe Premiere. . .
Synching this one was a HUGE pain in the ass. I actually ended up dropping scenes at teh very end because the shots wouldn't line up juuuuust right. For the most part they came out okay, but there are a few minor errors here and there. Damn I hate VideoWave.
No spoilers in this one, though you'll appreciate it more if you seen up through most of Slayers Next.
-The total work time on this video, despite being only a minute long, was about a week and a half, overall work time of 15 to 20 hours. I've got a job so now I have little time to work on videos! DAMN IT ALL!! AAAAAGGGH!!! WAAAAAH!!! Uh, sorry. . .
-Originally, I was going to use footage from the Zelda cartoon show, but I'd like to see YOU find any eps of that these days.
-Total number of scenes used in the video: 34
-Desipte being a video about Gourry, I managed to work in cameos of Zangulus, Jiris, Zelgadis, and (of course) Xellos.
-Thought about calling this "The Legend of Lina", but since it's about Gourry, this title seemed most appropriate.
-This video has changed format! That's right, I finally figured out how to make MPEGs instead of AVIs, so if you downloaded this video when it first came out, you have the somewhat bigger AVI. I've managed to cut off several meg and make the file more download friendly.
Hm, I wonder if anyone even reads all that stuff. They probably just go straight to the download. Oh well, ENJOY!
