This is my first track for the Short AMV Project, which is a fun little multi editor project doing short punk songs from the "Short Music for Short People" compilation CD. If you are an AMV editor, why not sign up for a track? We still have plenty available!
The lyrics for this one might be a little work unsafe (but are very funny), so use caution!
I chose this track on the lyrics alone, as I didn't have the CD when the project was announced, and
Great Teacher Onizuka came immediately to mind.
When I started trying to make source clips, I discovered through my own testing and word from a couple others that GTO, like Evangelion TV does not IVTC properly, so I had to deinterlace, and make the vid at 29.97fps. Last vid, I didn't understand IVTC, and now, I have to go and choose this anime. Sheesh.
Oh well, onward and ...something.
Fact: there are no argyle socks in the first seven volumes of GTO.
Solution: Use photoshop, and fix that. ;)
I'm not listing this as a digital FX vid, since I don't really consider a few speed changes and a couple Photoshop alterations to qualify it as such. Everything else is just stills and straight cuts.
This was fun to do, and a learning experience.
I hope you have as much fun watching it as I did making it.

I have re-encoded this video from the master for better quality, compatibility, and smaller filesize.
XviD 1.01 encoder was used, also should be Divx 5 compatible.
