My first attempt at making an AMV of Zero no Tsukaima and I think it went pretty well.
The concept is basically Louise is sulking as she goes through her memories of Saito [up to the point where he dies]. Hope you enjoy it!!

Feel free to leave CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM [emphasis on constructive!]

SIDE NOTE: After several comments regarding the one scene I included with Saito back handing Louise, I just wanted to say that the usage of the scene was a hit-or-miss addition to the story (no pun intended). The "hit" being a successful plus to the emotional impact and appeal of the AMV (imitating the ups and downs, memories and moments of a relationship). The "miss" is, with regard to the comments, being a hilarious moment (she had it coming) or inciting the idea to the viewer that Saito is abusive and does this to Louise on a regular basis (lol irony).

[July 10, 2008] Haha...yeah there's quite a story behind this AMV. At first, I planned on making a happy, super-hyper AMV of ZnT, but at one point I was like "Let's make it a sad one!!". So then you have this.
The AMV was actually pretty difficult to edit. I mean The Familiar of Zero is a pretty upbeat series [not in the case of the light novels] so there wasn't much I could use to go with the song. I had actually taken two days of intense thinking to think of a design concept for this AMV [usually it takes me only an hour]. Then after thinking of one I had the problem with the subs, which could have easily been eliminated with cookie cutting but then there was the whole I'm missing like half of my visual [solved by a bottom only cookie cutter]. That, in turn, left a really awkward black bar...so that's where the subs came in...which were suppose to go like ones you see in subbed anime, but since Home Studio has only 4 video tracks [max] I couldn't pull it off...=_=

[December 12, 2008] I was still rather inept at this point and still am today, but more less so than before. Anyways, apparently I could have done karaoke style subs but the method of how did not occur to me until my second Familiar of Zero AMV. Also, in this AMV several more factors of a clean appearance had not occurred to me so some aspects of it are a bit immature.
